Aji Pineapple

Ají Pineapple is a very productive Capsicum baccatum from Peru. Although the name seems a bit exaggerated since the pods don’t really taste like pineapple, they do develop a very special, fruity note. Unlike other Baccatums, Ají Pineapple is less fruity and sweet, but rather tart, lemony and somewhat floral. They are of course suitable for all kinds of salsas, curries and other exotic, spicy dishes. The plants of this Peruvian chili are mass producers, but are still very suitable for container cultivation.
