Bolas de Fuego – also known under the accession PI 260567 – is a rare and wild Capsicum baccatum v. baccatum from Bolivia. Their very vigorous plants produce hundreds of small red berries (Bolas de Fuego = Spanish: balls of fire) of the Pequin type. They develop a medium heat. They are particularly suitable for drying and are then crumbled over food.
