Craigella provides high yields of small, juicy and sweet salad tomatoes. It’s a variant of Ailsa Craig that was bred in Scotland around 1930. It’s said to be less susceptible to the so called green back. That’s a growth disorder which can be caused by excessive temperatures and sunlight. Because of its firm flesh, in Scotland Craigella is often fried for the famous English breakfast.
