Almost everything about this Capsicum annuum is exceptional. Farmers Jalapeño – also known as Potato Pepper – was discovered by John Fiedler from Bangor, USA. The variety is particularly notable for its unusual, cracked, corky texture. In the case of Farmers Jalapeño it’s even more pronounced than in other jalapeño varieties. It produces richly branched, hairy plants with large, white flowers. It develops a low to medium heat. Their pods are deep red on the inside and very sweet. Certainly one of the best jalapeños ever!
