Hijo Puta Madre

Regardless of its name, Hijo Puta Madre (=Spanish: son of a bitch) is a beautiful chili from Mexico. Their plants develop numerous purple flowers and dark green leaves, a real eye-catcher in the garden! This Capsicum frutescens produces very good yields of hot pods that ripen to red and have an interesting, salty taste. They are suitable for refining various dishes, but of course also for producing a particularly aromatic powder.
