Mini Olive Rocoto is a medium hot mutation that emerged from a yellow Mini Rocoto. It was discovered by Rebecca Toubøl from Denmark. The small, thick-walled pods of this Capsicum pubescens are already ripe when green. If you leave them on the plant, they become darker and ripen to a mustard tone. They then significantly lose their aroma. They’re easier to harvest when they already feel a little soft. They fall off the stem when lightly pressed from the side.
