In Mexico, such varieties were often carefully selected over many generations and adapted to local climate conditions and taste preferences. Miel du Mexique has an indeterminate growth habit, meaning it grows vigorously and tall as a classic vine tomato, producing long trusses with many fruits.

The small to medium-sized, bright red fruits are often enjoyed fresh straight from the plant. They are perfect for snacking, salads, or as a sweet accent in cold dishes.
