San Marzano Nano Tomato Seeds

San Marzano Nano is a compact Italian tomato variety that combines the typical characteristics of a San Marzano tomato with a considerably smaller, bushier growth habit. The elongated, deep-red fruits usually weigh around 60–80 g and have a high proportion of firm flesh.

San Marzano Nano has a rich, pleasantly sweet tomato flavour. The fruits are firm and meaty with relatively little juice. The plants have a determinate, bushy growth habit and can produce high yields despite their compact size.

Botanically, the variety belongs to the species Solanum lycopersicum. Its firm, fleshy fruits are particularly well suited for tomato sauces, passata, soups and preserving, while they can also be enjoyed fresh.

This variety is ideal for anyone looking for a classic Italian sauce tomato with a more compact growth habit than traditional tall-growing San Marzano tomatoes. It is also well suited to growing in larger containers.
